What an amazing day at the Tackle the Stigma 5K! 💙👟
Today was filled with energy, connection, and meaningful conversations. One of the highlights was having the opportunity to speak with a student from Shepherd Hill about the Hope Squad program. It was inspiring to hear their perspective and see the positive impact these conversations are having.
One piece of feedback that a student from Hope Squad shared that their peers are starting to feel more comfortable reaching out to someone they trust when they need support. Hearing that reinforced exactly why events like this matter. Breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health starts with creating safe spaces, building connections, and reminding people that they are never alone.
