It’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month. In addition to a paycheck, having a job provides:

-A sense of purpose
- Social connections
- Opportunities for learning and growth

These benefits are even more important for adults with disabilities. Let’s work towards creating communities where adults with disabilities can seek, secure, and maintain meaningful work.

Jaunt is such an important community resource in Charlottesville. It provides reliable transportation to so many people, including many of our team members who don’t drive.

And a special thanks to the Jaunt drivers who show such care and KINDNESS each day. We appreciate what you do and (just as importantly) we appreciate HOW you do it. 💛

Thanks to our good friends at UVA and the United Way for joining Kindness for the annual Day of Caring. We had so much fun meeting the team from the UVA president’s office. And we appreciate all the work they did to beautify our Rugby location. Kindness is grateful for our amazing community!
