We had all hands on deck for our first annual Sweep Day at Jefferson School City Center! Thankful for the continued support and presence of the UVA Football Team as we work to preserve and uplift this historic space.

It was a beautiful day at the Jefferson School City Center! ☀️🌸

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any sweeter… guess who hopped by to visit our friends at Piedmont YMCA ELC? 🐰💛

A cute, friendly bunny made a special appearance and brought smiles, laughter, and a little extra Easter joy to our day. Moments like these remind us how special our community truly is.

We are excited to announce that Order Up Eatery is now OPEN at Jefferson School City Center. Order Up Eatery brings bold flavors and a dynamic menu, making it the perfect spot for lunch, meetings, or taking advantage of patio season.

Owned by Troy Robinson, of the popular Order Up Food Truck, this new location features favorites like Wing Wednesday with signature Mabo Sauce and Fish Friday specials.

Order Up Eatery is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with extended summer hours coming soon!!

Enjoy your meal on the patio or inside, take advantage of convenient parking, or order ahead for pickup or delivery through Grubhub or Door Dash.

We invite you to stop by and experience it for yourself.

On Friday, we experienced something truly special — community, love, laughter, and togetherness — as we came together to celebrate Black history through art, authors, artists, dancers, and incredible local talent. It was a powerful evening that reminded us why this work matters.

At Jefferson School Foundation, we are committed to utilizing the Jefferson School City Center as a place of gathering, healing, creativity, and connection — and Friday night embodied that mission beautifully.

Weather Closure Notice
