Animal testing is NOT required by the FDA for cosmetics, but many cosmetics companies still cruelly test on animals.

Thankfully, STATES CAN CURRENTLY BAN THE SALE OF ANIMAL-TESTED COSMETICS WITHIN THEIR BORDERS. BUT THIS MAY SOON CHANGE if Sec 614 is included in a new sweeping act that the US Senate is advancing.

Hey, vegan friends! On Saturday, January 22, Voices for Animals will host our first “office hour” from 10-11am. Feel free to drop by any time during that window to discuss vegan topics, vent about compassion fatigue, chat with community members, or just to meet our board! We hope this will blossom into a truly helpful safe space for discussing all things vegan, and the ways in which our animal advocacy impacts every day life. Zoom link to follow!

Hey vegans! Voices for Animals is thinking of hosting a (virtual) vegan support group of sorts, focusing on issues like compassion fatigue, burnout, and the emotional effects of being vegan in this non-vegan world. Is this something you’d be interested in?

If so, would you be more interested in a mini book club (or film club) idea where we meet to watch/read/discuss relevant helpful resources, or more of an open forum to vent and discuss our individual challenges, coping techniques, and lend a listening ear to one another?
