We are proud to have been part of the team—alongside Center for Reproductive Rights, Blue Mountain Clinic, All Families Healthcare, and Trust Women—that sued the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for imposing restrictions on mifepristone that are unsupported by the scientific record.

We are even prouder that, today, a federal court ruled in our favor and ordered the FDA to reconsider these restrictions.

As we continue to live through a moment of unfounded attacks against medication abortion, we hope today’s ruling impacts pending litigation in Louisiana as well as future legal challenges to abortion access.

💜 …advocate for reproductive healthcare policies that give us control over if, when, and how we start our families. (This includes fighting for abortion access.)

This is work that Black-led organizations have been championing for decades. And continue to stand on the frontlines of today.

Arbitrary gestational limits ignore the reality: no two pregnancies are alike, and there will ALWAYS be someone just over the limit who needs care.
