🍀 National 4-H Week is proclaimed in Albemarle County! 🍀
This week, 4-H programs across the country are coming together to rally, inspire, and connect millions of young people, educators, volunteers, and alumni around a shared mission: preparing youth to be Beyond Ready.
Here in Albemarle County and Charlottesville, 4-H is shaping the next generation of Beyond Ready leaders — young people who are building confidence, discovering their strengths, developing practical skills, serving their communities, and learning to lead.
Because being Beyond Ready means more than being prepared for what comes next. It means having the confidence, resilience, skills, and sense of purpose to help shape what comes next.
💚 A special thank you to our incredible 4-H volunteers. Our program simply would not be possible without the adults who give their time, share their knowledge, mentor young people, lead clubs, and create opportunities for youth to grow.
💚 A special thank you to Laila, one of our 4-H youth, who shared her 4-H story with the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors today. We are so proud of the confidence and leadership she demonstrated in representing 4-H and sharing the impact this program has had in her life.
