We began as a loose group of student vets in the fall of 2016 who noticed a distinct lack of undergraduate veterans at UVA and have been working since then to track currently enrolled vets and attract more to the University. We have worked successfully with the administration to reform some practices in regards to GI Bill and benefits access, and are looking forward to establishing a permanent space on Grounds for vets. If you or someone you know is a student vet at UVA, please join us and/or refer your friends!
Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization, which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.
