GOD IS IT
what I am about to write may be an abomination to the Catholic religion or at least upset some people, but I do not speak on behalf of a religion, but for God, and he said to have spiritual courage. I have been taught that the Catholic religion is the only way towards salvation and even heard this the other day. I believe Jesus is the way to the Father, salvation and heaven, not a person, the Virgin Mary or a religion. God build his church upon Peter to exemplify that it would be one faith and one God, of which what should be primal in our lives is loving God and one another. We must be careful when thinking we know something just because it has been a belief for a long time. Even religions can change, only God stays the same. Are we really believing the truth and can we be wrong? The answer is yes, because God is the only truth. God promotes peace, unity and brotherly love. To think we are it or our belief is the only thing right is not charitable towards others as it can cause division. Our behavior towards people are among the most important actions we take. I like being Catholic because I like praying the rosary, it’s my way of praying a lot and we believe the Virgin Mary, saints and angels can intercede on our behalf through prayer, just the same way we do for others. Nonetheless the only requirement to salvation is believing in Jesus, loving God above everything and anyone and loving each other. Although being Catholic can be a better way with the help of all the saints and angels, it is not the only way. If being Catholic works for me in committing to God, becoming dependent on Jesus, being the best I can be to myself and others and living right, anyone can do what best helps them do so. As long as we adore God which guides our path towards true love for each other, it doesn’t matter how we are able to attain it. Someone said to me; “is it all about many prayers and having God in mind most of the day?” Well it’s not all it takes, but it does help; just the same way that it’s not only about going to church, saying the right things and pretending to care. We truly care when we keep an open mind and are tolerable towards adversity to promote peace.
On my radio show yesterday someone who was baptist had not only similar divine experiences as me but even better ones. Funny thing should be that I noticed people from other religions tend to be nicer, less judgmental and more humble. It is possible there is a lot of wrong going on within my religion. Maybe it’s because Satan attacks most the religion that severely threatens him, but it is not supposed to be about religion but about God, who instructed us to focus on him, not ourselves or others, especially when it comes to the truth for He is the light and truly the only way. 12/12/21
