Our mission is to promote and share French language and culture for the enrichment and enjoyment of the greater Charlottesville community. We seek to encourage cross-cultural dialogue by offering French classes and a variety of cultural events for people of all ages and walks of life. Going to France this summer? Need help with language and travel tips? Take Alexandra’s online class in May!

Learn to speak French through real-life situations across Strasbourg, Marseille, Provence, and Lille! This 4-week course builds practical everyday communication skills, giving you hands-on experience with trains, banks, pharmacies, and shopping at markets and in stores, while gaining confidence through key vocabulary, useful expressions, and guided role-play.
