Albemarle Snow Crew, helping others during snow storms. IG As we give thanks, we want to address a need in our area. How will this work?

We are excited to announce the launch of a new free community service called SNOW CREW. Giving back is an essential part of who we are. Albemarle High School students will volunteer their time and labor by shoveling the walks and driveways of elderly people and people with disabilities. This service will be provided within the Charlottesville/Albemarle area. After a snow storm, when it is deemed s

afe to travel, crews of rowers will be sent to the homes of people who have contacted us. To contact us, email [email protected]. The Snow Crew, which Lambert organized with members of the AHS rowing team, has cleared over 80 driveways this year. His vision for the Snow Crew was to, “address a specific community need, and something we could all get together and help someone out.”
