It was so great to recognize and celebrate our 2022 scholarship and fellowship recipients on Sunday with a luncheon at Quirk.

In 2022, the Raven Society awarded $50,000 in scholarship funds and $20,000 in fellowship funds.

Our scholarships and fellowships are awarded to distinguished students in recognition of their outstanding merits in different realms.

The Raven Council is heartbroken at the loss of Devin Chandler, D’Sean Perry, and Lavel Davis Jr. — this is a devastating tragedy for the UVA community, and we remember and honor their lives. We have provided a link in our bio to help their families with costs, so please donate if you can.

Given the recent tragedy, we will be postponing Fall Initiation until a date that has yet to be determined in Spring 2023.

During these challenging and heartbreaking times, we encourage everyone to take care of yourself, check in with loved ones, and support one another.

The Raven Society invites UVA undergraduate and graduate students to apply to the 2022 Raven Fellowship. The Society established the Raven Fellowships in 1984 to encourage student pursuit of scholarly, intellectual, and creative projects. Special consideration will be given to those projects with an interdisciplinary focus.
