Thanks to all who joined us last night to celebrate our 1000-day milestone!

Here are some highlights:
1. Darden from Classroom Central shared the profound impact our volunteer hours and donations have on the Title 1 teachers in Charlotte. Each teacher on average is provided $1500 worth of supplies they would otherwise have to buy themselves for their students. Our collective donation provided over 3 teachers all the supplies they needed for the year to help level the playing field for all their Title 1 students.

2. S.E.V.A. collectively donated over 900 volunteer hours and $56,000 to partnering charities in the community we call home. A great start.

3. We shared updates on the new charities focusing on education we are still vetting for 2026: Junior Achievement BizTown (Title 1 HS students), Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Program (Title 1 elementary/middle school students), and Dahlia Grove (human trafficking victims). Hiten reported Dahlia Grove is on hold as we need more of a critical mass of members to properly support.
