Congrats to our outgoing District Commissioner, Jeramy Pressley, on being awarded the Silver Beaver. This is the top adult service award a Council can give.

Jeramy is an Eagle Scout, and has served in leadership roles at the Unit, District, and Council level.

Headline: We’re Moving to Concord! 🚚

Big news, Central NC Scouting families! To better serve our community, the Council office is officially relocating from Albemarle to Concord.

What you need to know:
📍 Albemarle Office: Now closed.
📞 Phones: Our phone lines will be down while we transition. They will be back up on Monday, March 30.
🏢 Concord Office: We officially open our new doors on Monday, March 30th and will have a grand opening of the new office at the end of April.

📚 Little Free Library Restocked! 🇺🇸

Scouts from Troop 19 and Pack 53 spent part of their President's Day giving back by restocking the two Little Free Libraries in Waxhaw.

It’s a simple act, but small acts of service like this make a real impact in our community. Keeping books available and accessible encourages reading, sharing, and connection for families throughout Old Hickory District.

Great job, Scouts! 👏

HAD A GREAT TRAINING DAY AT CAMP. THESE GUYS GOT THEIR LEVEL 1 ARCHERY CERTIFICATION. THEY NOW CAN RUN A RANGE SAFELY AND COACH KIDS IN THE SPORT OF ARCHERY. LEVEL 1 TRAINING GOES ABOVE THE NORMAL RANGE CERT. MORE IN DEPTH OF HOW TO TEACH ARCHERY IN COMPOUND AND RECURVE BOWS. ONLY THE BEST OF THE BEST TEACHING AT CAMP BARNHARDT. A new year means new adventures! Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. There are currently eight active Cub Scout Packs serving Union County and they are always looking for new friends to join in on the many adventures they go on! No Pack nearby? No problem! our tool says neither has started - BUT with all this going on we are uncertain at what our tool is reading - there is a problem somewhere (rather sure not this tool) - it was reading from right place before some changes - but we are starting to guess the place that records Recharte...
