The Gladys Love Project is a nonprofit whose mission is to remind seniors they are seen, beautiful, and loved. We partner with volunteer groups to create “love notes,” or positive messages, then share them with senior communities and their caregivers. With COVID-19 social distancing, sharing our love is more important now than ever.

We’re overflowing with gratitude for McLawland Farms | U-Pick Farm | Farm Stay | Charlotte 🌸 This Sunday, their beautiful blooms will grace the high tea tables at the Duke Mansion as we gather to honor our beloved elders and caregivers.

McLawland Farms is an organic practicing you pick farm cultivating blueberries, figs and an array of flowers.

Farmers Jason McLawhorn and Larry Land have set a beautiful mission to create joyful farm experiences through fresh flowers, berries, education, and connection to the land. Their vision to be a beloved community farm where people learn, gather and grow aligns with our mission to offer mindful and creative experiences to nurture our elders and caregivers.

Twice is nice! 👯‍♂️ This month, join us for an afternoon or an evening of tea and sugar scrubs! We know caregivers are busy so we're offering two different times for you to practice mindful, self-care.

Evening Tea & Sugar Scrubs:
🗓: Wednesday, 6/24
⏰: 5:30-7:00 pm

Afternoon Tea & Sugar Scrubs:
🗓: Tuesday, 6/30
⏰: 3:00-4:30 pm
📍CenterWell Montclaire

We'll begin with a guided meditation to help you release the weight of the day and reconnect with the present moment. Then, we'll get our hands busy with a DIY Sugar Scrub made from whole, simple ingredients.

Come as you are and we'll bring the rest. No supplies needed — just you and your open heart. Caregiving is an act of profound love. So is rest. We'll see you there. 🍵✨

We’re excited to spotlight one of the incredible volunteers behind many of our Portrait Days: photographer Michael Maxwell.

Michael’s upcoming exhibition Seen with Care: Photographs of Life, Resilience, and Presence comes from his time spent in Cuba. His photographs capture not only a place, but the feeling of witnessing the way life continues, fully and honestly.

On May 21st, join us from the comfort of your home to practice self-care at our Virtual Caregiver Tea. We'll gather for meditation and learn how to make sugar scrubs using staple ingredients from your kitchen. 💆🏻‍♀️

On June 13th, we're excited to host tea and mindful conversations with the caregiving community at 💖

And on June 14th, we'll host our inaugural High Tea fundraiser, Hearts in Bloom at the Duke Mansion! 🌸
