Achieve Therapy Services is proud to support The Comedy Zone’s upcoming fundraiser for local autism nonprofits Reagan’s Wish and S.A.M. [So Autistic and Marvelous]. These are two great causes sharing one mission: to make a difference for children with special needs in our community. The event takes place Wednesday, October 29, with a reception and costume contest beginning at 7pm, and live auction and comedy show to follow. Tickets are $15 each - all proceeds will be split between the two nonprofits and used to fund PROJECT LIFESAVER and to provide Buddy Benches, iPADS, weighted blankets and much more! Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.cltcomedyzone.com or at the door on the evening of the event. The Comedy Zone is a full service Comedy Theater, Conference Center and Special Event facility. Located in the wildly popular North Carolina Music factory the Comedy Zone will feature 400 seats, a state of the art sound system, and presentation ready computer and flat panel screens.

Gingersnap Baby is hosting a Tip Toey Joey Trunk Show in their store the weekend of November 8th and 9th. Tip Toey Joey shoes are healthy, comfortable and super cute. Being web-only, until now, Gingersnap Baby customers and Charlotte MomEvents members will have the first opportunity to see our shoes in person in the USA!!

Working with local charitable organizations, Gingersnap Baby will give a pair of shoes to a Charlotte child born in poverty for every pair that is sold in the store. We also encourage you to bring your children so that you can get a perfect fit!

Please read on about this amazing opportunity for siblings of children with special needs put on by our wonderful sponsor, Achieve Therapy Services!

Sibshops provide the brothers and sisters of children with special needs an opportunity to meet other siblings in a relaxed, recreational setting. The siblings have opportunities to discuss common joys and challenges with other siblings of children with special needs.

WHO: Siblings ages 7-13
WHAT: A sports-themed Sibshop full of fun!
WHEN: Saturday, October 11, 2014
Drop off between 9:45-10:00am
Pick up between 12:15-12:30pm
