This morning, Steve Smith Sr. had the honor of speaking at the Veterans Bridge Home Breakfast. A gathering dedicated to supporting the men and women who have served our country.

📈 The number of clients turning to the Smith Family BHUC continues to rise, from 279 in February to over 400 in August.

This growth highlights just how critical our services are. Supporting the Smith Family BHUC means making sure no one in our community has to face a mental health crisis alone.

The Foundation joined today on a visit to our neighbors in Western North Carolina. Steve has created a prescription fund to support local residents with limited or no resources for behavioral health prescriptions and certain over-the-counter medications. The Foundation contributed hygiene and first aid kits to help meet community needs.
