Harris Express YMCA The Harris Express YMCA is an adult only, satellite location of the Harris YMCA on Quail Hollow Road (only 1.9 miles away).

We welcome members 16 years of age and older. Built in 2006, The Harris Express YMCA provides the South Charlotte community with a high-quality fitness experience. Members enjoy a 12,648 square foot fitness floor, containing top-of-the-line cardio equipment, strength machines, free weights and more. 🏀 Looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer? The YMCA of Greater Charlotte is looking for volunteer coaches for our Summer Sprint Basketball League.

Whether you're a former player, a parent, or someone who wants to invest in the next generation, you can help create a positive experience for young athletes this summer.

Just one hour on Friday evenings can help kids build confidence, develop skills, and learn valuable lessons about teamwork and sportsmanship.

CMS Intent-to-Ride transportation request forms are due June 19. Families whose children will attend YMCA Afterschool should register now so they can ensure their transportation information reflects their afterschool plans.

YMCA Afterschool provides a safe, supportive environment where children can complete homework, stay active, build friendships, and continue learning after the school day ends. Spots are still available at many locations.

Kick Off a Healthy, Active Summer

Healthy Kids Day® is the YMCA’s national initiative to inspire healthy habits in kids and families - and the perfect way to jumpstart your summer planning.

Join us across the YMCA of Greater Charlotte for a fun-filled day designed to get kids moving, learning, and thriving.

This free, community-wide event is especially designed for families with children ages 3–10, offering something for everyone while showcasing YMCA summer programs, including Day Camp and Overnight Camp.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each participating location will offer a variety of engaging, family-friendly activities such as:
🌟Music
🌟Family-friendly group exercise activity(s)
🌟Sports activity option(s)
🌟Pre-school age activity(s)
🌟Arts or STEM activity option(s)
🌟Temporary Tattoo or Face Painting station
