Some grown children do not love their parents. They are just users like mines. They love what their parents provide. Let a mama say no one time. Let a daddy stop paying bills one month. Let grandma stop babysitting every weekend. Watch how fast “family” turns into attitude, guilt trips, and disrespect.

Some of these adult kids don’t call unless they need money. Don’t visit unless they need a favor. Don’t check in unless life done beat them up and now they need somewhere to land. And the minute you set a boundary, suddenly you’re selfish, toxic, bitter, controlling, or “acting funny.”

No. We’re just tired of being used like a resource with a pulse. What hurts the most is us as parents will break ourselves trying to stay available because we’re scared if we stop giving, the relationship gone disappear.
And sometimes that fear is real. Because a lot of grown kids were never taught how to honor a parent without needing something attached to it.

Read that again.

If the only time you love your people out loud is when you’re struggling, that’s not love.
That’s emergency contact behavior.

The most dangerous lie in human history isn’t about food. It isn’t about medicine. It is about sleep.

For 200,000 years, humans did not sleep 8 hours. That number was invented in 1938 by a mattress company called Simmons Beauty rest. Before that campaign, the average human slept in two shifts. Historians call it “Biphasic Sleep.”

You would sleep for 4 hours, wake up for 2, then sleep for another 4. During that 2-hour window, people would pray, have s*x, write, think, and connect with their families. Some of the greatest works in human history were created in that sacred middle window.

Shakespeare wrote most of his plays between 1AM and 3AM during his second wake period. Copy these 8 steps to clear iCloud fast: ⬇

1. FIND THE REAL STORAGE HOGS
Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage and see what’s using the most space across Photos, Backups, Mail, and Apps.

2. DELETE OLD IPHONE BACKUPS
In Manage Storage → Backups, remove backups from devices you no longer use. Keep only your current phone.

3. OPTIMIZE PHOTO STORAGE
Settings → Photos → turn on Optimize iPhone Storage. Full-resolution photos stay in iCloud while smaller versions stay on your phone.

4. DELETE DUPLICATE AND BLURRY PHOTOS
Check Duplicates, Recently Deleted, screenshots, blurry photos, and unnecessary Live Photos.

5. CLEAR iCLOUD MAIL ATTACHMENTS
In Mail, search: has:attachment and delete emails with large files. Empty Trash to remove them fully.

6. REMOVE UNUSED APP DATA
Settings → iCloud → Manage Storage → tap apps you no longer use and delete their stored data.

7. STOP AUTO-BACKUP FOR LARGE APPS
Settings → iCloud → iCloud Backup → turn off backups for apps that don’t matter, like games or music apps.

8. CLEAN UP iCLOUD DRIVE FILES
Open Files → iCloud Drive → sort by size and delete old documents, downloads, and unused files.

No upgrade needed. Just cleanup.

Friendly reminder that you should take some time to put in a formal written request to google to delete the data it has saved about you.

This data includes everything you've ever googled, everything you've ever watched on youtube, if you use the sign in with google option on websites instead of creating an account, all of that data is also with google. This will also include all of your location data. Your google maps has a record of your location at all times and that info is saved and referenceable. Of course all reviews you've left, locations you've checked into. All of your chrome internet history.

The deletion process takes two months. However, your data may remain in backups for 6 months after requesting deletion.
