Meeting people, talking to them and learning their stories is one reason Pope said he enjoys doing this event, and Joann Pope said she wanted to thank everybody that came out, giving a special thanks to the great support staff. Pointing to Goldrick and Thompson, she said these gentlemen have put their hearts into it and are the “driving force, and they keep him upbeat and motivated. These are three brothers you will never break apart.”
Pope said he plans to do this again in 2027 and while they aren’t ready to reveal the location yet, he said, “we’ll be back next year.”
