South Carolina Annual Summer Workshop
Save the date for The South Carolina Genealogical Society 2026, 53rd Annual Summer Workshop – In-person and Virtual! Occurring on July 17-18, 2026, this workshop is two events: one In-Person and one Virtual. 1. The In-Person conference will be held at the SC Department of Archives and History, 8301 Parklane Road, Columbia, SC. Registration includes a Silent Auction, 21 sessions, a Program Book with Syllabus, Great Vendors on-site, Access to SC Archives, and Door Prizes! The keynote speaker is Mark Lowe, and topics
include Revolutionary Ancestors, Real Estate Records, DNA, AI, and
much more. 2. The second option consists of 9 Virtual
Sessions on July 17-18, 2026.
