Our amazing cookie sellers celebrated their success with a special Build-A-Bear day at the Girl Scout Hornets’ Nest store! 💚

They got a first look at our NEW Cookie Bear, matching PJ set, and adorable bow accessories. 🎀🧸 We’re so happy they chose to spend their special day with us so we could celebrate their dedication and hard work.

Now they have a little furry friend to remind them just how sweet their success can be! 🐻🍪✨

Hornets' Nest Council Girl Scout, Olive, is making headlines again! 💚

We love seeing one of our own featured by Vanity Fair as Cookie Queens continues to shine a national spotlight on the determination, confidence and entrepreneurial spirit of Girl Scouts.

"Olive, a North Carolina Girl Scout who has made over $200,000 for the organization through cookie sales, has dreams far beyond the stand where she peddles Thin Mints and Samoas. When a customer in the new documentary Cookie Queens observes that Olive is a 'very good salesperson,' the then 12-year-old chirps in reply, 'Oh, I’d like to be a Supreme Court Justice!'

The Girl Scout–to–government official pipeline often works—just ask Sandra Day O’Connor and Sonia Sotomayor. For many young women, the long-standing American tradition of earning badges through community outreach activities and, yes, rampant cookie selling is the first step in a life devoted to public service. 'When you let girls and women lead, we do great things,' the documentary’s director, Alysa Nahmias, tells Vanity Fair. 'When communities come together at a grassroots level, [they] create spaces where kids—and girls in particular—can be safe and united.'"

Looking for a fun way to spend a Thursday evening? 🍕 Join us for Slice Into Girl Scouts at Cicis Pizza on August 20! Girls will enjoy a hands-on pizza-making experience where they'll learn how pizza is made, create their own personal pizza, and enjoy eating their tasty creation.

S’mores are more than a sweet treat. They’re camp memories, sticky fingers, big laughs, new friendships, and one of our favorite Girl Scout traditions. 💚
