Bright Stars After School began in 2017 with a vision to create a safe, nurturing, and academically enriching environment for children in our community.
We are most proud of the role we played during the COVID-19 pandemic. When schools closed their doors, Bright Stars opened ours wider—from 7:00 a.m. each day—so families had a dependable, safe, and supportive place for their children. Serving children from multiple schools across the Charlotte area during such a difficult time reminded us of why Bright Stars exists: to meet families where they are and ensure children continue to thrive.
Today, Bright Stars continues that same commitment through After School and Summer Programs that inspire children, support families, and strengthen our community.
