Claire's Army strives to act as God's hands and feet by providing support for families fighting childhood cancer.

Claire’s Army was founded to support patient families in treatment for childhood cancer. We do this through one or more of our impact programs: Claire Packages, Meal Deliveries, and Emergency Assistance.

We have a pretty sweet story for you this .

Anyone who knew Claire knew her dog, Rush. The two were inseparable, which is why a Labrador puppy has become such a special tradition in our gala’s live auction.

And this year, that tradition came full circle.

At our 10th Annual Claire’s Army Gala, the yellow lab puppy was graciously won by Robyn Hayward, who gifted him to Claire’s little sister, Sydney.

Ten years later, our 10th Annual Gala puppy is officially a member of the Ratliff family!

We can’t think of a more perfect ending to this year’s puppy story. 🐾💗

Today, Claire’s younger brother and sister headed back to school.

And as so many families mark another first day, we’re reminded of the milestones Claire never got the chance to reach.

Claire went to preschool, but her time was cut far too short. She never got a first day of kindergarten. She never got to graduate elementary school or walk into middle school like her siblings.

It’s one of the many reasons Claire’s Army exists.

We can’t give families more time. But we can meet them exactly where they are and help carry the burdens that take them away from what matters most.

Through meals, emergency financial assistance, emotional support, memory-making and more, we give families the space to soak up every moment, celebrate every milestone and simply be together.

Because time is precious, and every moment matters. 💗

A little sneak peek from our best gala yet. 💗

The room was beautiful, the energy was electric, and the night was more than we ever could have imagined.

Because of this incredible community, our 10th Annual Claire’s Army Gala raised more than $500,000, making it a record-breaking year for Claire’s Army. Every person who showed up, gave, volunteered, sponsored, shared Claire’s story, or simply believed in our mission helped make that possible.

We’re still taking it all in, and there is so much more to come. For now, just a glimpse at a night we will never forget — and a community that continues to show us what it means to be an Army. 💕

Thank you for believing in this mission, for celebrating Claire’s legacy with us, and most importantly, for helping us continue to show up for families facing childhood cancer.

A few years ago, Ava was a childhood cancer patient. Today, she’s in high school, serving on student council, giving back to her community, and even hosting fundraisers to support Claire’s Army. 💗

Her story is an incredible reminder of just how much can change in a few short years—and of the amazing young people behind the families we have the privilege of serving.

Ava has taken some of the hardest parts of her story and turned them into a way to help others. Now, she’s using her voice and her experience to make a difference for kids and families walking a road she knows firsthand.
