When: Sunday, August 30 | 10 AM to 12 PM
Where: The Sam Lerner Center for Cultural Arts at Shalom Park (5007 Providence Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28226)

Whether you're new to the area, newly connected to Jewish life, or simply looking for new ways to get involved, Newish & Jewish is the perfect place to start.

This is a fair-style event designed to help connect people to Jewish Charlotte's opportunities, agencies, programs and people. Meet representatives from local Jewish agencies such as social groups, schools, camps, synagogues, community organizations, and more, all in one place! Explore the programs, events, and opportunities that make Jewish Charlotte such a vibrant and welcoming community.

All are welcome — individuals, couples, and families. Come as you are! Make connections, ask questions, and discover the people and organizations that can help you build meaningful relationships and find your place in Jewish Charlotte. We can't wait to meet you!

This abundant harvest from the Shalom Park Community Garden goes directly to Jewish Family Services of Greater Charlotte. Thank you to our Pe’ah forward volunteers who contributed blackberry jam, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Many thanks to the volunteers who harvested produce from the garden and donated jars of homemade strawberry jam to food pantry through the Shalom Green Pe'ah Forward program 🥬🍓🫛
