Starting over in a new country is a journey. Once initial resettlement services wind down, many families still have questions, from understanding a utility bill to preparing for a job interview or a citizenship exam.

Refugee Support Services stays involved long after that first stage ends. Our Help Desk assists with letters, bills, and appointments, while English classes, workforce programs, and citizenship preparation help each person keep building toward their own goals. Every participant is a parent, a student, a professional, or a neighbor first, and our programs are shaped around who they are.

For 20 years, Refugee Support Services has worked with refugees, asylees, and other newcomers as they build their lives in the Charlotte area. As the only post-resettlement agency in greater Charlotte, RSS continues supporting families well beyond their first months in the country through English classes, the Help Desk, mentoring, and community programs.

Our work is guided by a promise to help every neighbor arrive, connect, and belong, from finding their footing in a new city to building friendships and a true sense of home.

Tomorrow Is the Day

Tomorrow, we'll gather as neighbors.

We'll celebrate the stories that connect us, the cultures that enrich our community, and the belief that when one neighbor thrives, we all do.

If tickets are still available, this is your final opportunity to join us. https://woventogether.givesmart.com

We can't wait to see you.
