💙As we close one chapter and prepare to begin another, we pause to recognize and celebrate the incredible women who have faithfully served on the Sisters of the Dove Charity Fund, Inc. Board of Directors over the past three years.

🤍Their leadership, vision and commitment have helped move our mission forward in meaningful ways. Together, this board has:

✅Awarded more than $30,000 in scholarships to deserving young women pursuing their educational dreams.

✅Opened and strengthened our fully operational Stork’s Nest Program in partnership with Quality Comprehensive Health Center, expanding access to education, resources and support for growing families.

✅Invested in youth development by funding programs, educational field trips and enrichment opportunities for our youth.

✅Provided financial assistance and essential resources to elementary-aged children, vulnerable older adults, and caregivers through community service efforts.

🌟Perhaps most importantly, they have given generously of their time, talents and hearts in service to others. Countless hours of planning, meetings, fundraising, partnership building and volunteerism have helped strengthen the Foundation and position it for continued growth.

✨To each member of our outgoing Board of Directors, thank you for your dedication, your leadership and your belief in the mission of Sisters of the Dove. Your service has made a lasting difference, and the impact of your work will continue to be felt for years to come✨

Over the weekend, Sisters of the Dove Charity Fund, Inc., and Charlotte's Finest Zetas Wellness Committee collaborated to provide information and resources during the Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas!

We were proud to be a part of this amazing community event, where we provided information regarding our causes, such as Scholarships and Stork's Nest. We also provided health & wellness activations, including blood pressure checks, mental health resources, and information on hydration.

✊🏾 Juneteenth is a day where we celebrate Hope, Freedom, and Perseverance.

✨ To commemorate this special day, we will have our tent at the Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas in Plaza Midwood (1215 Thomas Ave., Charlotte, NC 28205) on Saturday June 20th from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm!✨
