Jimmy CORE Foundation

Jimmy CORE Foundation The jimmy CORE foundation is a nonprofit organization focusing on providing essential life comforts to the homeless community. This is Jimmy Core’s hometown.

The jimmy CORE foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in the spirit of its namesake. Jimmy Core was committed to helping homeless people eat a full meal in the communities in which he lived and worked. There are more than 500,000 homeless people in the United States and most are searching for essential life comforts of food, clothing and shelter. This number continues to grow and foundation believes it is our responsibility to help as many of these individuals possible. The foundation will focus on providing essential life comforts so that this group can focus energy on returning to their place in society. In the beginning, all of the focus will be in Charlotte, NC. A fundraiser will be held annually in the month of July to fund the foundation and the services it will provide the homeless. The jimmy CORE foundation will have three clear missions:

Provide food, clothing and shelter for homeless people in Charlotte, NC. Educate and inspire others to lift this group up to achieve higher levels of living. Preserve and maintain the spirit of Jimmy Core.

A decade without Jimmy. There are still moments where it doesn’t feel real, and then there are days like yesterday that remind us just how many lives he continues to touch.

We started the day with Saturday Sharing helping out neighbors in need. Later we packed 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗱 ❂ with family and friends, new and old who came out to support the Jimmy Core Foundation. The Switch absolutely crushed it, our silent auction was incredible, and we completely sold out of merch! This year, along with Ardrey Kell Lacrosse and Tim Price we presented the Jimmy Core Scholarship to Dylan Schwiegerath.

One of the things we are most proud of is that, because of this community, we were able to donate a delivery truck to Roof Above . That truck will help many people who need it, and knowing it will be out there serving others in Jimmy’s name is amazing.

People always ask how we keep Jimmy’s legacy alive after all these years. The truth is, we don’t do it alone. Every time someone chooses kindness, gives back, or helps someone else because of this foundation, they’re carrying a little piece of Jimmy with them. When you tell his story, he continues to live on.

Thank you for helping us turn the hardest thing our family has ever experienced into something that continues to do good.

Lub. 💙
