From Chesterfield SC, Animal Services to boat life - Olive is living the dream! 🛥️✨

We absolutely LOVE getting updates and seeing the animals we pull from rural county shelters live out their best lives.

Rescue is hard and not for the faint of heart. This makes it all worth it in the end.

We are thankful every day for our shelter partners, fosters, adopters, and other rescues that we work with.

FOSTER FOUND!! We couldn’t be more thrilled for Draco. Thank you to everyone that share, commented, and liked. It truly takes a village.

⭐️UPDATE AS OF MARCH 16TH:

‼️🚨We have not had A SINGLE PERSON reach out about fostering Draco. 🚨‼️

❌If we don’t find someone to foster him, he will have to go to boarding. This is not ideal, as he has been in a home, and was previously at a rural South Carolina Shelter. ❌

We are BEGGING someone to STEP UP for him. PLEASE HELP US!!!

Ox has secured a foster up North and will be leaving the shelter THIS FRIDAY!!!

‼️🚨🚨WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨🚨‼️

We’ve said it before and we will say it again, we CANNOT and WILL NOT take in ANY MORE ANIMALS without funds..

We DO NOT want to have to close our doors but it is becoming harder and harder to help animals in need when we do not get any donations.

Right now, we have two dogs in our rescue going through heartworm treatment which is costly (roughly about $1500 PER DOG).

We have a puppy, a long timer, a kitten, and a few medical intakes that we have had to spend quite a bit of money on.

Rescue does not care if you don’t have the funds. Our animals need us NOW.

We get at least 5-10 requests PER DAY to intake new animals.

We also help with spay and neuter for Davie County Animal Shelter every week.

So now we are asking YOU, THE PUBLIC for your assistance so we can keep our doors open.

We would LOVE to continue to take in more animals. But we will have no choice but to close our doors to our partner shelters if we do not have the funds available.

There are several ADOPTABLE dogs that having been sitting in our rescue for MONTHS with little to no interest.

This!! We love our friends - STAB Rescue!

Unfortunately, this is the reality of the rescue world. Just bickering women filled with egos and pride, broken spirits, trying to save broken dogs.

We are not going to be pulled into the rescue drama we could care less about anything other than our dogs. We don’t care what rescue hates. What rescue or what rescue is trying to bring another rescue down none of that matters to us. What matters to us is our mission and that is to continue to save dogs. We are not in competition. We do not care to compete. And we don’t care about any type of gossip sent our way.

Yes, we are registered under the Secretary of State as well as the IRS. Yes the boarding facility that we use is licensed through the Department of agriculture. We also have nothing to hide. What we are not going to do is act like children what we are not going to do is engaged with people that have hostility. What we are not going to do is stoop down to their low levels.

If you want to be an adult and have an adult conversation, feel free to message us with any questions and we will be happy to answer them. If you start spreading lies and rumors about us, we really don’t care because the public already knows what we have been doing all these years without a nonprofit and for the city of Charlotte. We are bigger than the drama, and we will always maintain our professionalism. The dogs will always be our number one priority.
