RP Gene Research Foundation We are a 501(c)3, nonprofit dedicated to raising funds to support research for Retinitis Pigmentosa, PRPF 31.

We recently discovered that both of our children have Retinitis Pigmentosa, PRPF 31. This is a progressive degenerative eye disease that causes blindness. There is no cure, but there are scientist out there trying to conduct research, but they struggle to obtain the necessary funding. This nonprofit was created solely for the purpose of raising awareness and funding for RP research. No person should have to go blind and we are determined to make sure a cure is found.
