Hey there Village. One of our long time Villagers is needing some support to catch up with bills and stay in his home and out of court. We are asking those who can to give what you can. This is a QUICK need. Rent needs to be caught up by the end of this week.

We know how hard it is out here. Break off what you can. Every cent helps. We’ll keep this post updated in the comments as we go. ✊🏽✊🏿✊🏼❤️

May Day this Friday! Communities everywhere are organizing, resisting, and celebrating.

Here’s just some of the events happening in Charlotte. And don’t forget the call for a general strike on May 1st - No Work, No School, No Shopping!

Whether you’re showing up to protest, support your neighbors, learn, or build together there’s a place for you in this movement.

May Day belongs to the people. Let’s show up for each other.

Hey Friends. Community care is how we show up for one another. 💛

We’re organizing to support our neighbors with essential supplies and we need your help to make it happen.

We’re currently collecting:

🛒 Food staples

🍼 Diapers & baby formula

⛺ Tents & tarps

Every donation goes directly to folks who need it—no barriers, no cost, just solidarity.

Anything makes a real difference. Let’s build the kind of world we deserve, together.

This year was been extremely brutal for one of our villagers! They have faced tremendous losses as well as ongoing Healthcare needs. They are now at risk of not being able to manage housing as well as not being able to provide for their family for Christmas. The ask is not for gifts, the ask is for housing and food. Please donate what you can to this family in need that has been through so much this year. They will be spending Christmas in the hospital together, let's, collectively, make sure they can share a meal together.

Hi folks...

As a friendly reminder, the decision was made to cancel the mutual aid fair due to customs and boarder patrol consistent presence near SEAC's office.

Our aim for the MAF is to bring our communities together, share knowledge, and resources. We do it under the mantra of, "we keep us safe."

Part of the "us" is the surrounding community and the most impacted. While we are saddened that the MAF won't happen for those in need, we have to do everything in our power to keep everyone, especially such an immigrant dense community, safe.

Additionally, so many of us have been doing what we can on the ground to support impacted community members, we don't want to take away from such important efforts by hosting the MAF during this time.

Please continue to organize for the community how you can in this moment and know that we will be back!
