Have y’all met Kathleen? She’s a STAR!

Each year, Queen Charlotte Chorus recognizes one of its own members who has faithfully and tirelessly served and worked for the good of the chorus. This year’s Star Award recipient is Kathleen Alletto!

Kathleen has played an instrumental role over the past year in bringing the chorus together in many dynamic and diverse ways, working tirelessly to help create meaningful bonds between chorus members. She creatively and enthusiastically goes the extra mile to plan and execute social events and theme nights for our members and regularly offers up her own beautiful home for chorus social activities. She keeps our members excited about being a part of QCC and makes every member feel warm and welcomed. She is the Queen of Hospitality and we are so very lucky to have her in our chorus family!

We are devastated to share the news that our dear friend Hannah Harris has passed away. Hannah was a beautiful person, inside and out, and an absolute joy to be around. We are all better for knowing her. Our hearts are with Hannah’s family as they navigate this difficult time and we also send our love to Hannah’s quartet, The Starpeggios, and her home chorus, Charleston Sound Chorus.

Guest Night!! Y’all, our guests really showed up and showed out - all TWENTY of them! We had so much fun sharing our love of barbershop harmony, singing together, being a Sweet Adeline, and being a part of Queen Charlotte that we nearly forgot to snap some pictures! To all our guests, we’re so happy to have met you and hope to see you on our risers again soon! To anyone who couldn’t make it out last night, feel free to join us at another rehearsal night - our next rehearsal is May 19.

Last week we jumped right from Contest directly into our Spring Fling - complete with floral bonnets, an unhinged game, and of course, snacks!

We also may have introduced our new ballad because we just can’t help ourselves!

It was a great night and the perfect way to transition out of Contest weekend!
