Our biggest Silent Auction yet is coming to Something Big!

This year, we’ve added some exciting items and experiences we’ve never featured before.

From wellness packages and golf getaways to at-home fun and unique local experiences, there’s truly something for everyone.

And thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated to our auction, every dollar raised on the night of Something Big will go directly to supporting kids experiencing foster care.

recently awarded CFK a $10,000 grant!

This amazing grant will help to support CFK’s It’s Good to Gather events, which provide free, family-centered gatherings for foster, adoptive, and kinship families throughout the year. Grant funds will help cover meals, activities, venues, and event supplies! These events create welcoming opportunities for families to connect with others who understand the unique foster care journey, build community, and simply enjoy time together.

Our dear friend will be joining us on stage at Something Big. We cannot wait for you to meet her. Her story is marked by heartbreak, hope, the impact of the people who showed up for her along the way. and a powerful picture of what it can mean to step into the life of a child experiencing foster care.

We think PJ & Pop-Tarts is a pretty great reason to gather…add to that pancakes, play, and some pretty incredible kids and families…and you have quite the party! 🎈🍩🥞🩵

This morning, over 100 foster & kinship parents and kids came together for our It’s Good to Gather PJs & Pop-tarts event! Kids of all ages got to “shop” for a brand new pair of pajamas and choose the ones they loved.

Families connected. Parents chatted. Kids played. Siblings who are currently living apart got meaningful time together. And for a few hours, there was simply space to be together, make memories, and belong. We even celebrated a 4-year-old birthday!

Why? Because moments like these matter.

It’s good to gather. 🩵

18 foster families spent two nights at Camp Lurecrest this past weekend - playing, resting, and most importantly, connecting with one another.

They rock climbed, ziplined, went tubing, painted pottery, swam, held gaga ball tournaments and ended the days with glow stick ice cream parties.

Weekends like this create space for foster families to have fun together while building the kind of community and support that can last long after camp is over.

We would love to introduce you to the amazing people joining us at Something Big 2026! 🎤

Our guest speaker is so special! ⭐ Annika Marek-Barta ⭐ spent five years in the foster care system and was adopted as an adult at age 26 - a reminder that we never outgrow the need to belong. A former Court Appointed Special Advocate, graphic designer, and photographer, Annika is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, known, and welcomed. She will join us as a special guest at ‘Something Big’ to share her story.

You might recognize one of the people pictured... ⭐ Molly Grantham! ⭐ is a four-time Emmy winner, three-time author, national speaker, and charity auctioneer known for bringing humor, energy, and authenticity to the stage. After 25 years in television news, she now inspires audiences across the country to “Bet On Yourself.” Molly is also a proud mom of three and an active supporter of nonprofits. We’re thrilled to welcome her back as emcee of the Something Big Benefit.

We are excited to welcome musical guests ⭐ Isaac & Adele! ⭐ are a husband-and-wife duo blending folk, blues, Americana, and country with rich harmonies and an easy, soulful sound.
