The Town of Mooresville NC is hosting a public meeting to discuss a proposed text amendment to the existing Zoning Ordinance. If you are receiving this email, you are on the Town’s informational distribution list for the Unified Development Ordinance project.

You are cordially invited to a public meeting to discuss a proposed text amendment to allow for built upon area averaging per NCGS 143-214.5(d2). This text amendment would allow increased development flexibility to the current maximum impervious coverage requirements on properties that are located with the Town’s Watershed Overlay District.

Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome and will be included with information provided to the Town Board of Commissioners before action is taken on the proposed text amendment. The meeting will be moderated by Town staff and held in a non-formal setting. If you are able to RSVP to [email protected], it would be appreciated to ensure adequate space is being provided. We hope to see you there!
