The Chimal team has arrived home in Charlotte safe and sound. Thank you for your prayers and support. It has been an amazing week with lots of fun stories and great memories! God is so, so good! To our friends in Chimaltenango, it’s not goodbye... it’s see you soon again!

The Casa Bernabé mission team is still in Guatemala serving for a few more days! Let’s keep those prayers coming! 🙏🏻 🇬🇹

The last couple days have been amazing! The Chimal team went on a “team outing day” to Panajachel. We were able to take in amazing, breath taking views of Gods creation all around us. Yesterday, we spent the day with the kids doing crafts and tie dying T-shirt’s and playing games! This morning will be bittersweet as we prepare to travel back home. Thank you for the continuous prayers! 🙏🏻

Yesterday was another fun filled, but busy day! We worked on some more projects.. replacing a roof and finishing up building benches and tables. The ladies also held a ladies day out which was filled with painting , jewelry and gift exchanges! We closed the day with fun games and s’mores with the kids! God is good!

It’s been a beautiful day in Chimaltenango today! Sunny and 75! ☀️ Pastor Craig is teaching a seminar to the church leaders and we have distributed new shoes to all the students and kids and teachers at the school. Thank you to all who donated and helped gather shoes! Lots of smiles and happy faces! And lots of “ah-ha” moments from the church leaders as the seminar and teachings continue! Thank you for all the prayers and support! Keep them coming! 🙏🏻 🇬🇹

The Chimal team has been up bright and early this morning as we begin travel to Guatemala. However, due to delays leaving Charlotte, we missed our connecting flight and we’re stuck in Houston for 3 hours until the next flight. Keep those prayers coming for safe travels and health! 🙏🏻🇬🇹❤️
