Update for neighbors ❤️

The neighbor involved in the hit and run has been identified. CMPD made contact with him, issued multiple citations, and he now has a court date.

Along with the pavers, plants and tree, the crash also took out the City sign warning drivers about the median (the irony is not lost on us) CMPD has submitted a ticket to city services for the sign repair and cleanup.

We’re also working to determine whether the driver has active car insurance. If not, we’ll pursue having him pay out of pocket for the damages.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who shared information, checked cameras, sent footage, and helped get the word out. This is exactly why looking out for each other matters. Keeping our neighbors and our streets safe is always the priority. ❤️

And stay tuned from our Beautification Committee…we may need a little Windsor Park neighbor power to help get the area cleaned back up. 🌿💪

See you at the end of summer social & school supply drive on 8/13 6-8 at Windsor Park Elementary.

UPDATE: We’ve confirmed the accident occurred at 12:58 PM.

Here is a photo of the truck we’re looking for. It appears to be a white or light gray, single-cab, long-bed Ford F150 F250 with aftermarket wheels and a truck box in the bed. It may also have a modified/louder exhaust.

The truck should have significant front-end damage, a missing headlight, and a missing front license plate holder.

If you recognize this truck, saw or heard it around 12:58 PM, or have any information, please message us. Please share!

🚨 Looking for information — Sudbury Rd. entrance Windsor Park Neighborhood.

Sometime between 12:45–1:15PM today (Saturday, August 8 ) a truck crashed into the center median at the Sudbury Rd. entrance to Windsor Park, causing significant damage to the landscaping, brick pavers, county signage, and newly planted plants.

Based on the tire tracks, front license plate holder, and headlight pieces left behind, we believe it was a white or light gray Ford F150 or 250/350 truck. The truck was able to leave without a tow, and we believe the driver may live in the neighborhood.

If you see a white or grey Ford F150 or 250 /350 truck with fresh damage, missing a headlight and front license plate holder or have a camera facing Sudbury Rd., please check your footage from 12:45–1:15 PM and message us.

Do you enjoy rearranging tiny plastic letters?
Do you get an unreasonable amount of satisfaction when things are centered?
Do you know your ABC?

Congratulations. We have an oddly specific volunteer opportunity for you.

We’re looking for someone to update the Windsor Park letter board with messages about neighborhood events.

✨ Time commitment: About 30 minutes a month

✨ Compensation: Unlimited neighborhood clout, our eternal gratitude, and the occasional “Hey, I saw the sign!” from a neighbor.

No experience necessary. Mild perfectionism is a bonus.
