💚 COMMUNITY PARTNER APPRECIATION! 💚

Some partnerships go far beyond just providing resources. They help build stronger, more connected communities. ❤️

Today, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Maureen and the team at Charlotte Community ToolBank! 🛠️

The Charlotte ToolBank has been an incredible partner to the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association, helping us turn big ideas into reality. From neighborhood events to community projects, their support has played a tremendous role in helping Windsor Park thrive!

As a volunteer-led neighborhood association, we rely on partnerships like these to make things happen. Having access to the right tools and resources makes a world of difference, but having someone like Maureen who genuinely cares about our neighborhood?!?
That’s priceless.

Maureen, thank you for your generosity, encouragement, and continued investment in our community. We are so fortunate to have you in our corner!

👏 Let’s show The Charlotte ToolBank some LOVE!

Isaias said no, so we’re changing plans. ☔

Tomorrow’s Block Party is canceled for everyone’s safety, but we’re bringing the party to you with driveway pop-ups in the coming months. Swipe for the details, and keep an eye on your inbox. 🤍

Stay safe, Windsor Park!

Weather update for Saturday's Block Party

A bunch of you have asked, and yes, we're watching Hurricane Isaias closely. The board is busy working through options so we can still celebrate together whether that's on Saturday at a different location or on another date.

We'll make the final call by end of day tomorrow (Friday) and share it here, by text, and by email. Nobody needs to guess or refresh the forecast every hour. We'll tell you.

In the meantime, please cross every finger and toe you've got.

Safety comes first, but we really want this
party to happen. Thanks for your patience, neighbors.

What if we created a piece of art at theWindsor Park Block Party that wasn’t just for the neighborhood… but MADE BY the neighborhood?

And we’re not talking about a little coloring page or craft. We’re talking HUGE.

Think paint by numbers… except there’s no paint.

Instead, we’re starting October 10 with a giant mural that isn’t finished.

That’s intentional. Because YOU are finishing it!

Every neighbor who stops by will grab a sticker, find its number, and add it to the mural. Then another neighbor adds theirs. And another. Until hundreds or maybe thousands of tiny individual stickers come together to reveal one giant Windsor Park piece of art.

And we’re not telling you what the finished picture is. 👀

You’ll have to help us create it to find out. At the end of the Block Party, all stickers will be placed and we’ll finally get to stand back and see what we made together.

And really, that’s kind of the whole point. ❤️

Different streets. Different families. Different generations. Different people.
One neighborhood. One giant piece of art.

🚨 NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY UPDATE

Safety is always a top priority, and we want to keep neighbors informed and encourage everyone to remain vigilant.

We received the September SEAL Report from CMPD’s Eastway Division.

Please continue to be aware of your surroundings, look out for one another, and report suspicious activity. If you see something that appears to be an immediate threat or emergency, call 911.

We share these reports not to create fear, but to help our neighbors stay informed and vigilant. Please take care of yourselves and each other. ❤️

Did the neighborhood president really just give out her PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER to all 2,700 homes in Windsor Park…and encourage everyone to text her?!

😳📱

Yes. Yes, she did. 😂

Was that slightly unhinged? Maybe.

But here’s the thing…

When we say we want Windsor Park to feel more connected, we mean it. Not just “we live in the same neighborhood” connected.

We mean know your neighbors, recognize the names, share ideas, ask questions, show up, and help each other out.
So check your email for more details and let’s see how many Windsor Park neighbors we can actually connect with!
