I’m not sure I have the right words to fully express how magical yesterday was.
What happened at Dames Navigate the Gully was bigger than scores or standings. It was women showing up for themselves and for each other. It was hearing laughter echo through the woods. It was strangers becoming cardmates, cardmates becoming friends. It was encouragement after tough holes, celebration after great shots, shared snacks and stories, and moments that reminded me exactly why this community matters so much.
I feel incredibly blessed, humbled, and deeply honored that 39 women chose to spend their day with us navigating the Gully together.
To every single woman who played:
Thank you for your presence.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for supporting one another.
Thank you for making the course safe, welcoming, and joyful for all.
I stood back multiple times today just in awe of the community that exists when women are given space to simply show up as themselves.
Direction • Courage • Resilience
You all embodied every bit of it today.
And somehow… it felt like everyone won.
