We are all very proud of Troop 119, 219 and Pack 119 as they rocked South Charlotte with our Scouting for Food efforts today. Our Scouts and parents had an early start at SMPC and braved this morning’s cold and windy weather to deliver significant impact to NourishUp’s food pantry needs. Well done Scouts!

Troop 119:

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the parents of Troop 119 Scout, Shuchay Kotikalapudi and the severe injuries suffered by Shuchay and his sister (Shivani).

Shuchay and his family were involved in an automobile accident in Maryland while traveling back home after the recent holiday break. As of now, we are unsure as to when Shuchay and Shivani will be in a condition to travel back to Charlotte or what their future holds.

We extend our condolences to Shuchay, Shivani and the extended family and ask everyone to keep the family in your prayers.

Not 1 but 2 Eagle projects at SMPC!!! Thomas H. project managed his Eagle Scout project with edging to the SMPC front sign. Om S. project managed his Eagle project with building benches for the Bed 4 Kids effort. Well done for both of our "future" Eagle Scouts!!!

WOW - and then we have 106!!!! Congratulations to Rishi B. and the completion of his Eagle Scout Board of Review last night. Rishi becomes the 106th Eagle Scout for Troop 119!!!!
