Metrolina Landscape will begin spreading pine needles in our common areas and around the street trees today. Please be aware as you drive through the neighborhood.

If your tree stave is bare or has needles in it now, they will be replaced with new needles. If there is anything else (mulch, stone, or other landscape material) they will leave that in place.

🎄✨ Riverbend Annual Christmas Tree Lighting! ✨🎄

Hey neighbors! It’s that magical time of year again, and we’d love for you to join us for our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting this Saturday, November 29 at 6:00 PM at the Whoville Tree on Neland Lane!

We’ll have:
🍫 A delicious hot chocolate bar
🔥 A cozy s’mores station
🎅 Pictures with Santa (bring the kiddos—or the kids at heart!)
🎁 And a few fun surprises we can’t wait to share!

Bundle up, bring your holiday cheer, and kick off the season with your Riverbend friends and family. Can’t wait to see you there as we light up the night! 💫

🦃Tomorrow’s the Day, Riverbend!

Let’s show our big hearts once again 💛 — our Thanksgiving Food Drive is happening tomorrow, Saturday, Nov 22 between 9 AM–1 PM at the pool parking lot!

Drop off your turkeys, hams, chickens, and all those Thanksgiving goodies — stuffing, canned veggies, cranberry sauce, gravy, pie filling — you name it! We’ll have coolers and boxes ready.

Everything collected goes straight to a local food bank preparing Thanksgiving meals for families who need a little extra help this year.

Let’s make a difference together — see you tomorrow morning! 🦃✨

We all love the beautiful trees in Riverbend but not so much all the falling leaves. Please keep your sidewalk area free of leaves. Leaves left on sidewalk become a safety hazard for neighbors walking, especially if leaves become wet. Please refer to link below how to properly discard yard waste. Happy Fall!🍁

Annual Meeting Recap & Important Assessment Information

Dear Riverbend Homeowners,

Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Meeting on Monday evening. We appreciate your participation and continued support of the Riverbend Owners Association.

We are pleased to share that the 2026 Budget was approved by the membership and is attached for your reference. The approved budget includes a special assessment of $75, which will be due September 1, 2026.

As a reminder, regular HOA dues are due January 1, 2026.

The Board of Directors for the upcoming term is as follows:

Margaret Hans

George Hamm

Each member will serve a one-year term.

Additionally, the 2025 special assessment of $86.61 was due on September 1, 2025. There are still nearly 100 homeowners with outstanding balances for this assessment. If you have not yet submitted your payment, please do so as soon as possible to avoid further collection action.

🦃 Riverbend Thanksgiving Food Drive! 🧡

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, let’s take a moment to remember that many families right here in Charlotte are struggling to put food on the table. Nearly 12–15% of households in Mecklenburg County face food insecurity — that’s about 1 in 8 of our neighbors, and for children, it’s closer to 1 in 5.

Let’s spread some love this Thanksgiving!
Join us anytime Saturday, November 22 from 9 AM–1 PM in the pool parking lot drop off area as we collect:
🦃 Turkeys, hams & chickens (coolers provided!)
🥫 Non-perishable Thanksgiving items — stuffing, canned veggies, cranberry sauce, gravy, pie filling & more.

All donations will go to a local food bank to help create full Thanksgiving meals for families in need. 💛

Riverbend has always had such a big heart — let’s keep that tradition going and make this holiday brighter for others!
