Where will you find Kingsbury’s next?

This weekend, Kingsbury’s returns to Historic Brattonsville!

But the question is… whose side will they be on?

Will they stand with the Crown or fight for American independence?

Who will fall on the battlefield? Who will flee? Who will surrender?

History will come alive at Brattonsville. Come experience the sights, sounds, and uncertainty of the Revolutionary War, where every battle tells a story and every decision carries consequences.

Join us this weekend and witness history unfold! Details in the comments below.

Despite temperatures soaring well over 100 degrees, Kingsbury’s Artillery was honored to help celebrate Independence Day at the Museum of the Waxhaws!

Throughout the day, we brought the Revolutionary era to life with musket and cannon volleys. Diane shared the important role of women in camp, explained 18th-century rations, taught visitors traditional colonial games, and even had some lively conversations about turtle soup and fresh fire-baked bread! Private Bennett added a special and moving reading of the Declaration of Independence, reminding us of the extraordinary words that forever changed the course of history.

We were thrilled to welcome a fantastic crowd! Visitors from Spain, new residents from the Dominican Republic, local families, and travelers from across the country all came together to celebrate America’s 250th year of independence.

It was a wonderful reminder that the story of our nation’s founding continues to inspire people from every background. Freedom is a gift worth preserving, history is worth remembering, and together we proudly celebrate 250 years of the United States of America. 🇺🇸
