The Battle of Kings Mountain in South Carolina was a decisive military victory for the Patriots which turned the tide leading to our independence from Britain. We took our Oregon friends here to enjoy learning about this battle and how it was won. They had the option to hike the trail and see a demonstration of the rifles used to win the battle.
