An Invitation to Connect with Our Heritage
The Heritage Network was founded by like-minded Sierra Leoneans at home and in the diaspora with a simple mission: to connect our people across the world and keep our cultural heritage alive.
Sierra Leoneans have built lives in Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Many are raising children far from Sierra Leone. Some of those children may never have the opportunity to visit their parents’ homeland, yet they deserve the chance to know its history, languages, traditions, and people.
That is why we created this Network. We want it to be a place where Sierra Leoneans of every generation can connect, share knowledge, learn from one another, and celebrate who we are. We especially invite young people born in the diaspora, including Gen Z, to discover their roots and bring their own ideas and talents to this community.
Whether you live in Sierra Leone or abroad, there is a place for you here. Join us, support the Network, and collaborate with others who care about our heritage and Sierra Leone’s future. Together, we can strengthen our connection to home and contribute to the communities that shaped us.
