Give More Than a Donation.

At SVP Charlotte, partnership goes beyond financial support.

Our Partners invest their time, talent, and resources to help nonprofit leaders strengthen organizations, build capacity, and address some of our community’s most complex challenges.

Through opportunities like Spark Teams, strategic advising, nonprofit coaching, community learning, and hands on engagement, Partners play an active role in creating lasting impact across Charlotte.

As SVP Partner Denise Burkard shared: “SVP is an anchor for me to the Charlotte community, really helping me connect with others in person and feel like I am contributing to a vibrant nonprofit community.”

Whether you’re new to philanthropy or have years of experience, there’s a place for you here.

Tonight, SVP Charlotte Partners will gather for an evening of conversation, connection, and community centered around learning from The Bulb, one of SVP Charlotte’s newest Investee Grant recipients.

The evening will include opportunities to learn more about food insecurity, sustainability, and the innovative work addressing food access across Charlotte, including insights from special guest Sam Fleming, Co-Founder of 100 Gardens and SEED20 Class of 2018 alum.

Moments like these are part of what makes SVP Charlotte unique, bringing together nonprofit leaders, community members, and Partners to learn from one another and build meaningful connections.

✨ DID YOU KNOW? ✨

The nonprofit sector is the third-largest employer in the United States.

With approximately 12.8 million workers, nonprofits employ more people than the construction, finance, transportation, and information sectors, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Behind those numbers are organizations and people working every day to support communities through education, healthcare, food access, mental health services, housing, the arts, and so much more.

Nonprofits are not just part of our communities, they help keep them moving forward.

“The bridges are already built. We need people to take the risk and cross those bridges.” — Manolo Betancur,

That message echoed throughout last week’s Community Impact Summit, where nonprofit leaders, creatives, community partners, and changemakers gathered to discuss connection, civic engagement, coalition-building, and what it means to truly show up for one another in a rapidly growing city.

From conversations around cultural connection and food insecurity to creativity and civic participation, one theme continued to rise to the surface: stronger communities are built through participation, trust, and human connection.

Thank you to SHARE Charlotte, Charlotte Is Creative, Foundation For The Carolinas, and the many voices who helped make the day so meaningful.
