What We Do
Our goal is to use our passion for art to make affordable and sustainable housing a reality. We know this may sound like a somewhat unique concept, but here’s how it works: when you purchase a work of art through Heart for Housing, 100% of the proceeds go directly to a non-profit organization that focuses on housing issues. Additionally, Heart for Housing may help outfit new housing projects with art donations, helping to make that house a home.

Why We Do It
We believe that having a safe and reliable home is a foundational part of life. With a home, we believe that both adults and children are undeniably better equipped to focus on their talents and passions, launching them into a more successful and enjoyable life. But, unfortunately, homelessness is a real problem for over 600,000 Americans on any given night. By one account, there are 643,067 people experiencing homelessness on any given night in the United States. (Source: http://www.endhomelessness.org/section/about_homelessness/faqs)
And, thousands more Americans don’t have access to safe and reliable housing. Our goal is to reduce these numbers by using our passion for art to contribute to organizations help that provide affordable and sustainable housing to the adults and families who need it.

About the Artist
While he spends most of his time working as an accountant, Rob Langdon uses his free time to paint and take photographs. His photographs range from pictures of global cities to rural landscapes, and his paintings are most often colorful and geometric art. Recently, Rob founded Heart for Housing to combine his interests of art and community, and is using his art through this organization to support other non-profits that are helping to make affordable and sustainable housing projects a reality.
