In my district, I’m excited to be partnering with Councilwoman Caetrina Peterson, in the city of Dumfries, and our White House Black Market family in to serve as a drop off location for families in Prince William County. It's been 3 years to date, since I have had the opportunity to pour into my foundation. I can't wait to blog and share my journey... I'm ready to start back working with mom's that share my same journey! I just wanted to jump in and update my foundation page! I made the best decision for my family by moving to Northern Virginia, as it has been a world wind of challenges and triumphs. In light of this, I am excited about the impact Cayden Nicole will have on the families in Prince William once we relaunch Cayden Nicole. As my foundation grows, I hope to touch the lives of single moms across Georgia and PW county, and eventually the world! The mission is to help single mothers pursuing their education with childcare.

My last post was in 2022, life has been taking off. My goal is to start back to the works of Cayden Nicole Foundation and its support for single mothers pursing their education. I’m looking forward to getting back to work!

Having a 21-year-old of my own, this has been at the top of our discussions. If the outcome continues to be bad, then..... Often the solution is to change the environment, and that doesn't always mean our location, but the space we are in. People that care about you should never put you in situations that aren't beneficial to your growth. You can't achieve perfection; however, your choices make your life what it is!

One of the challenges of being a single mother is letting go of the blame game. Be aware that your career path might be different, your finances may be shaky, and you might need to reassess your goals. In any case, it's up to you to be as healthy as possible to make sure you can give your children everything they need. Accept responsibility, forgive yourself, and show up for your children.
