A Giving Heart Project is proud to join , an initiative to support Black-led and Black-serving organizations making a difference in community. The disproprionate impacts of economic disparities and social injustice on Black communities underscore the vital need for resources to support Black-led nonprofits. We had another phenomenal Community Give Back last week! We served close to 100 families, played games, ate brunch, danced, indulged in some nice cold water ice and gave out resources, clothes, and shoes to our neighbors in need.

Thank you for the bottom of our hearts to our over 40 volunteers, 12 resource vendors, 3 sponsors, and our DJ MoMo who humbly served our community with deep care and dignity.

Save the date: our next community giveback will be a Fall Festival on October 31st. 🧡✋🏽

We are just TWO days away from our Summer Community Give Back and we are having brunch! We are looking forward to being in community with all of our neighbors, serving those in need, and eating good food! Come join us ✋🏽❤️

All summer we have been preparing for the Summer Community Give Back on August 8th by doing some much needed organizing and sorting of our donated items. At the end of May, we were joined by Chosen City Church and the end of June, we were joined by NC Dems volunteers that helped us build shelves for our storage container as well as sorting our clothing items by sizes so that we may provide resources to our community with ease.

THIS Saturday, July 18th we will be launching our monthly sorting and organizing volunteer opportunity INSIDE to beat the heat. Come be in community with us, listen to some music, and help us prepare to serve our community with HEART.

A special thank you to all of the new volunteers who showed up and showed out these last few months and welcome to the AGHP Family!

This year, A Giving Heart Project is excited to announce our inaugural 5k, Breaking Barriers, as our annual fundraiser! We are on a mission to eliminate barriers for those in need through our three pillars: Heart for the Homeless, Heart for the Youth, and Heart for Community.

By participating in this family-friendly event, you can help us reach out goal of raising $10,000. Early Bird Registration closes soon with a rate of $35, prices will rise August 1st.
