On September 14th, we’re taking over the Duke Mansion for an evening that brings together the timeless character of one of Charlotte’s most iconic venues with modern design, entertainment, and experiences.

From the gardens and terrace to those unmistakable checkerboard floors, we’re making the most of everything the Mansion has to offer — with something new to discover around every corner.

Expect an immersive experience from beginning to end, filled with creative ideas, unexpected moments, and plenty of inspiration (and fun!) for every corner of Charlotte’s hospitality and event community.

Each month, we spotlight a member who helps make NACE Charlotte such a special community, and this month we’re excited to celebrate Cristin Corder Lee with Party Reflections as our July Member of the Month! 💛

July’s spotlight is someone whose impact on our chapter extends far beyond the titles she’s held. Cristin has been a dedicated leader and supporter of Charlotte NACE for many years, serving as a Board Member, President, and Immediate Past President. While those roles alone are worth celebrating, it’s what she’s continued to do after her board service that truly sets her apart.

Cristin continues to show up month after month, supporting our meetings, encouraging her team to get involved, and championing our chapter whenever she can. Whether it’s sponsoring an event, offering words of encouragement to our current board, or simply greeting members with a warm smile, she has a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued.

One of the things I admire most about Cristin is that she reminds us leadership doesn’t end when your term does. She continues to invest in this chapter because she genuinely believes in the people and the community we’ve built together. Her positivity, generosity, and unwavering support have helped shape Charlotte NACE into the chapter it is today.

The Charlotte Chapter is headed to New Orleans, ready to learn, connect, and bring back fresh ideas that will strengthen our local events community.

Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and this month our NACE Charlotte community had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by volunteering with Nourish Up.

Together, our members and Board spent the afternoon serving our neighbors by:

✨ Packing Client Choice Pantry orders that helped provide food for 75 individuals across two local pantry locations.
✨ Sorting and inspecting 2,500 pounds of donated food to help ensure it reached families in need.

While we came together to serve, we also strengthened the relationships that make our chapter so special. NACE is more than a network of event professionals. It’s a community of people who believe in supporting one another, investing in our city, and making a difference beyond the events we create.

A heartfelt thank you to Nourish Up for the incredible work they do every day to fight food insecurity across the Charlotte region. We are grateful for the opportunity to support your mission and look forward to many more opportunities to give back together.
