The castle doors are opening, Charlotte. 🕯️

On October 28, NACE Charlotte claims The Ivey’s Hotel for *The Traitors: NACE Edition*. Gather at the round table, er, cocktail hour, before our annual chapter update. Then the real game begins.

Among you are Faithfuls. Among you are Traitors. Alliances will form. Alliances will crumble. And by the end of the night, someone you trusted will look you in the eye and lie.

Dress for the drama: cloaks, velvet, black lace, something dangerously elegant, or entirely your own. Just remember, the most innocent face in the room may be hiding the darkest secret.

📍 The Ivey’s Hotel
📅 Tuesday, October 28 | 5:30–8:30 PM

⚠️ Only 40 seats at the table, and they are vanishing one by one. Don’t be banished before the game even starts.

Faithful or Traitor? The only way to find out is to show up. Choose your look. Trust your instincts. Trust no one. 🖤

Meet our September Member of the Month, Brandon Alley!

A NACE Charlotte member since 2015, Brandon has supported our chapter in just about every way possible, from sponsoring programs and serving on committees to previously serving on our Board of Directors as Director of Communications. And apparently, stepping off the board did not mean he was going to stop helping.

This year, Brandon brought his creativity and marketing talents to Masquerade at the Mansion, helping with graphics, social media, sponsor recognition, and the content strategy that helped us reach more than 100 RSVPs.

Beyond what he contributes, Brandon is someone who consistently shows up for others. He lends a hand, supports his fellow members, and helps make sure the people around him get their moment to shine.

And when he’s not doing all of that? You might find him behind the DJ booth…or apparently dropping a few bars. Yes, Brandon can rap, too.

This month, the spotlight is officially his. Please join us in celebrating our September Member of the Month, Brandon Alley | Charlotte Wedding DJ

Trust no one. Dress like you’ve been waiting for an excuse.

NACE Charlotte is gathering on October 28th at The Ivey’s Hotel for an evening of cocktails, chapter updates, and a Traitors-inspired murder mystery experience where strategy, suspicion, and a little deception are part of the fun.

As for the dress code? Consider this your permission slip to wear the thing that never seems to have an occasion. Dramatic, elegant, unexpected, over-the-top, understated, mysterious. The choice is yours. Just remember: appearances can be deceiving.

Registration opens soon, and space will be limited.

Ready to take your NACE involvement to the next level? 💙

Some of the best connections in NACE happen when you go from simply attending events to getting involved, working alongside other members, and helping shape the future of our chapter.

As we look ahead to 2027, NACE Charlotte has several elected and appointed leadership opportunities available for members who are ready to step up, share their talents, and serve our community.

✨ Marketing & Communications Director
✨ Hospitality Director
✨ Fundraising Committee
✨ Social Media Chair
✨ Sponsorship Chair

Serving on the board or a committee is more than adding a title to your résumé. It’s an opportunity to build deeper relationships within our industry, grow your leadership skills, expand your network, and have a voice in the experiences we create for our members.

You don’t have to know everything or have served before. You just need to be willing to get involved, bring your ideas to the table, and be part of what makes NACE Charlotte such a strong community.

Interested in learning more about one of our 2027 opportunities? Reach out to Erin Dennis at [email protected].
Your next great connection might start by raising your hand. 💙

One week left to register! 🎭

Registration for Masquerade at the Mansion closes September 8, and as we get closer to the big night, we need to take a moment to recognize the incredible group of sponsors helping us bring this event to life.

From the venue, food and cocktails to florals, décor, production, photography, entertainment and all of the unexpected details in between, nearly every part of the evening is being made possible by the generosity and creativity of the companies and individuals you see here.

Collectively, our sponsors are contributing tens of thousands of dollars in products and services to create an experience unlike your typical networking event.

Swipe through to meet the partners behind Masquerade at the Mansion.

We are so grateful to every single sponsor who has said yes to being part of this event. Whether you’re helping transform a room, feeding our guests, providing entertainment, capturing the evening, or contributing one of the many details happening behind the scenes, you are helping make this possible. 🖤

And now there’s only one week left to make sure you’re there to experience it.
