Healing happens in community. 🔥🧘🏽‍♂️

This week, our Second U family stepped into the heat together at Spiritlab — practicing hot yoga alongside formerly incarcerated individuals committed to growth, accountability, and transformation.
Inside that room, labels disappeared.
There were no past charges.
No statistics.
No stigma.
Just breath. Just movement. Just people choosing a new path.
At A Second U, we believe wellness is justice. Access to healing spaces shouldn’t be a privilege — it should be part of the comeback story.
We’re grateful to our corporate partners at Spiritlab for opening their doors and proving that real impact happens when businesses invest in restoration, not just reputation.

As we close out the year at A Second U Foundation, we’re proud to continue supporting the growth, healing, and success of our returning citizens.
Our recent orientation was truly inspiring—filled with healthy meals, shared knowledge, and meaningful connections. It set the tone for what’s possible when community, opportunity, and purpose come together.
Participants who were newly released also completed “Hell Week”—an immersive, week-long physical education experience hosted daily at different locations owned and operated by formerly incarcerated business owners. This powerful initiative not only challenged the body and mind, but also highlighted the strength of second chances and community-led impact.
