At Hoofbeats and Hearts, our mission has always been about the bond between horse and human. Sunny, Mocha, and Dancer have come so far on their journey to health, and I am now looking for dedicated, on-site leasers to join us here at our private farm in the Waxhaw/Monroe area.

We are offering an all-inclusive, on-site full lease for those looking for a peaceful place to ride and bond without the "big boarding barn" stress.

Meet the Herd:

Sunny: Truly the steady soul of the farm. If you’re looking for a partner to clear your head and enjoy the rhythm of a quiet ride, Sunny is your guy. He’s a dependable gelding who is perfect for someone wanting a peaceful connection.

Mocha: This one isn't just pretty to look at but is full of personality! Mocha is curious, engaging, and always looking for a connection (and maybe a treat). She has so much style and is also incredibly grounding. She’s the kind of horse that helps you leave the world behind the moment you step into the arena with her.

Dancer: Our beautiful girl with a lot of heart. Because of her past, she deals with some "PTSD" and requires a confident, higher-level rider who understands how to work with a sensitive soul. She is incredibly rewarding for a rider who leads with patience.

The Details:

Activity: Perfect for light trail riding and groundwork.

Location: Private farm in Waxhaw/Monroe (On-site only).

The Experience: This is a full-care setup where the horse stays in their familiar, loving environment while you enjoy all the perks of "ownership."

Our beloved Sunny is battling an extremely bad flare up of cellulitis. Unfortunately, in some cases this can be deadly. He has had this chronic disease long before he has called us home but we are hopeful he can make a full recovery again. We have to give a huge shout out to our Vets who have always provided us with a quick response! We will continue to provide around the clock care consisting of medicine, cold hosing, compression and massage. He isn't liking the limited pasture arrangement but his girls Dancer and Mocha are keeping him company while he heals. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. We hope to update you with a positive outcome!! 🙏

Healthy hooves are key to having a happy horse! 🔑

One thing we never skimp on is caring for our horses feet. Sunny is always such a doll for his appointments and seems to get excited when he sees the ferrier pull up. He tips in kisses I tip in cash!! 💸

Stay tuned we are going to be offering private classes on the basics of horse care and essentials. This will be the first step to our grooms program and it is for those who are interested in the equine lifestyle but not quite ready to jump in the saddle. 🐎
