From lending a hand at events to joining a committee, Plaza Shamrock volunteers make our neighborhood stronger, friendlier, and more connected. There’s no long-term commitment—just a chance to share your skills, meet great people, and help shape the future of our community.

🎄 Holiday Social & Toy Drive Planner (Oct–Dec)
🥃 Wh***ey Tasting Event Planner (Jul–Sep)
👻 BooFest Planner (Aug–Oct)
🍻 Low-key Socials or Driveway Party Planner (throughout the year, anytime)
🎨 Graphic Designer (to help with posts, flyers, yard signs etc)
📰 Write & send Newsletter - via Wix (once a month or so)
🌐 Web admin support - via Wix
✋Any event planning committee - general support (pick an event, or sign up for all!)

🍀 We keep it fun — we're neighbors first. Meetings are casual, efficient, and come with great conversation (and a night out of the house).
🍀 Divide and conquer — more hands = a lighter lift for everyone.
🍀 Tag-team it — nervous about committing solo? Grab a friend and co-chair together!

📋 OPEN BOARD POSITIONS:
🔹 Secretary — take notes & help keep us organized (great for introverts who want to be involved!)
🔹 Communications/Newsletter — write our monthly newsletter + occasional email blasts
🔹 Website Admin (Wix) — keep the site updated, post events, build the occasional new page
🔹Social media (Insta/Facebook): Responsible for creating content, planning social media posts, and managing the DMs / inbox.
🔹 Membership Coordinator — welcome new neighbors, keep the roster, and send renewal reminders
🔹 General Board Member — advocate for the neighborhood wherever needed

📢 THE PLAZA SHAMROCK BOARD IS GROWING (AND EVOLVING) 📢

Life happens! Between new babies, career moves, and big life changes, several of our amazing board members are stepping into busy new chapters. We're so happy for them 🥹 — but it means your neighborhood association is looking for fresh faces to join the team.

We love serving Plaza Shamrock, but to keep our events, newsletters, and neighborhood advocacy going strong, we need a few reliable neighbors to help carry the load.

To qualify, you'll need to:
✅Live in Plaza Shamrock
✅Be a PSNA member (join here: plazashamrock.org/new-member)
✅Attend ~75% of our monthly weekday evening meetings (1–1.5 hrs)
✅Head or co-head at least one neighborhood initiative per year
✅Serve a 2-year term

🌞 Come on out for family fun & camaraderie at our annual National Night Out event, this August 4th from 5:30-7:30 at Shamrock Park. CCH and Plaza Shamrock will be grilling up some 🌭 hot dogs, both meat & vegan and will be serving up some delicious ice cream! 🍦 We are excited for visits from local law enforcement 👮🏽‍♂️, firefighters, 🚒 and other local government officials.

🎉 That's a Wrap on the May Membership Drive!

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who signed up to support PSNA during the May Membership Drive — and to those of you who were already with us before it even began. This organization runs entirely on volunteers and the generosity of neighbors like you, and we truly couldn't do it without your support.
Now for the fun part — congratulations to our raffle winners! 🥳

🏆 Chandler F. — winner of the Sprinkle Joy private booking

And the biggest news of all: we now have 70 paying members — a 60% increase in just one month. That kind of growth doesn't happen without a community that genuinely cares, and this one clearly does.

Here's to a great summer ahead. Stay tuned for Plaza Shamrock events. And welcome to all our new members! Thank you you again to everyone who showed up for PSNA. 💙
