Hoskins Park Ministries

Hoskins Park Ministries Currently Hoskins Park Ministries has 7 houses in northwest Charlotte, all within a one block radius.

The purpose of Hoskins Park Ministries is to help men who have been living on the street, or are near homelessness, to get back on their feet as independent God-fearing men by experiencing grace through Jesus Christ. In that regard HPM will be incorporating a holistic approach to residents, meaning life transformation, using the tools available to us, powered by God’s Holy Spirit.It is our objecti

ve to share the love of Christ with those in our program by providing concrete help and tender care, so that God might use us as His Hands in order that they may be saved. In that regard we want to teach them about Jesus, while also helping them achieve godly goals in their lives in order to move them towards independence. Our primary evangelism tools will be living the example of Jesus, while preaching and teaching the word of God in a ministry governed by biblical truth and boundaries focused on the specific needs of each individual.

Thank you for your incredible generosity! Our year‑end fundraiser ended on a high note, with more than $48,000 raised. Your support is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a caring community comes together to help formerly unhoused men rebuild their lives based on the life-transforming programs offered by HPM and the hope and grace provided by Jesus Christ.

The Super Bowl party hosted by the men of Matthews United Methodist Church (MUMC) is always a crowd favorite at HPM. Participants put their football knowledge to the test with trivia for raffle tickets, hoping to win jerseys of their favorite players and hats from their favorite teams—all while enjoying plenty of game‑day classics like wings, burgers, hot dogs, and chili. A big thank‑you to MUMC for bringing the fun, the food, and faithful partnership year after year!
